I took my very first photography course at 15 years old with my dad's old Ricoh. That was 30 years ago. YIKES! Back then I had no idea where this passion would lead but I knew from early on that I wanted to bring meaningful and timeless images that would envoke emotion even decades later. 

When I first found my way from weddings and family portraits into Newborn portraiture, it was 2007 and I had no idea what it would take to refine my images and my business! 

It took years of practice, struggling with 5+ hour sessions and major anxiety of how each session would go.

I was lacking confidence and consistency in my posing, workflow and lighting skills.

I was always getting fussy babies and not using the proper techniques to calm them.

I had no idea how to pose safely and what to look for in the baby's movements and behavior.

I had too many hours of editing because I wasn't getting it right in camera and my skin tones weren't consistent!

With over 16 years of experience in newborn photography, I've learned a lot through trial and error. Now, I'm excited to share everything I've learned with you, so you don't have to go through the same struggles.
